Topic: Should rich people be required to pay more taxes?

benefits of our essay help

Description

Your final assignment is an argumentative, research paper where you will take a side on a controversy (a debatable topic) and that uses a thesis-driven structure to organize your argument. This assignment is the culmination of the work we have done so far in our class, so I expect for it to be the best piece of writing you have submitted, as by the time you have submitted this assignment you will have my feedback on two major assignments, discussions, and drafts already. This means I expect you to consider the feedback I provided on your genre assignment, the feedback I advised you on your narrative assignment, and the feedback I provided on your drafts.
I am hoping that the work you put into your last assignment and on your research will contribute to the way you frame your argument. Please feel free to use both informal research in this final paper, as well as formal citations (journal articles), they can both have a space in the assignment. Try to stay away from papers that weigh the pros and cons of an issue without taking a side, that argue for the complicated nature of some issue, or that merely informs the reader of an issue. The point of this assignment is to write a persuasive, organized argument for a side of a controversy that integrates research according to MLA format, an argument that utilizes ethos, pathos, and logos, which also considers the conditions of rebuttal of the opposing side of the argument and responds accordingly. Strong papers will have a concise, and comprehensive thesis that takes a Stance on a Topic and shows the major points of Evidence (STE), in the sequence of the organization of the forthcoming argument. It will also employ Topic Sentences that echo the Thesis Statement (displaying the Stance taken on a Topic and the specific piece of Evidence focused on) and Transition Statements (sentences that signal the shift in focus from one piece of evidence to the next).
This paper should be written in 3rd person (no use of the pronouns “I, me, you, we, us, our, your, me, and mine”). It should be written in MLA format, utilizing a heading on the first page (Student name, professor name, class name, and date), a centered title that isn’t underlined or bolded and is the same font as the rest of the paper, be written in Times new Roman Font 12, and contain a student’s last name and page number in the header on all pages. It should also have Works Cited Page on the last page of the assignment; this page isn’t counted in the 4-5 page, double spaced, page minimum.
The paper should include the use of five sources, two of which must be scholarly, academic journal articles. The paper may include more than five sources, but try to keep your words and quoted material to a 75/25 ratio at max, ideally 80/20 at best. Please make sure to use parenthetical citations according to MLA format throughout your argument, and to use a variety of methods for integrating your sources.

Topic: Total Reward Plan research paper

benefits of our essay help

Description

“Total reward strategies should be people-centric and focus on the rewards that are useful for your particular team. Not every policy will work in every workplace, as they should be tailored to the individuals and organizations that they exist to support” (Reilly, 2019). Throughout this course, readings and resources, you have been exploring the facets of compensation.

One method of tailoring a Total Rewards strategy is to consider the theories of compensation and how those theories translate into motivating employee behavior. Designing a pay structure with pay-levels and the correct pay mix along with mandated and flexible benefit options requires the necessary data from a job analysis, market comparisons, and salary surveys.

In this Assignment, you will develop a presentation of the Total Rewards Plan you have been designing throughout this course. Your PowerPoint should be concise and to the point, just as it would be when presenting to a corporate CEO for consideration. It is important to justify your recommendations and be mindful of the budget considerations. While money isn’t everything, and not all decisions are based on cost, the benefits should be clear when options are costly.

Scenario: You are developing a presentation for the CEO of an organization. As you know, CEOs balance many projects and are consistently crunched for time. They often just want the salient facts.

To complete this assignment, create a narrated PowerPoint presentation. Included in this presentation are:

•Title slide
•Table of contents
•1-page graphic of the Total Rewards model you created (must be your design and not copied from the internet)
•One slide per main subject of your Total Rewards model. •On each page, you must list the details under that category and discuss them verbally (narration), explaining the details and/or justification for each.
•Example: Answers might include why you selected that particular strategy, the benefits it brings to a company, financial implications of using that strategy or tool, and other topics pertinent to proving your model accurate. Justify your model as to why the CEO and organization should implement it.
•Budgetary considerations
•Example: What are three general budgetary considerations of adding discretionary elements to the Total Rewards program?

•Last slide before your reference page should link Total Rewards to corporate social responsibility for the organization.

Summative Term Paper Assignment

1000-1200 words

Typed in double space in a 12-point serif font

Worth 30% of your final grade

MLA format (see Purdue Owl website for discussion of how to cite works in text and in the Works Cited page)

Submit in Word/Pages format, or PDF if necessary—through Lea

*Note: Because this is a summative assignment for BXE, you cannot pass the

course without receiving a passing grade on the term paper

The final Term Paper for the BXE course requirements asks you to synthesize important themes from the course and a discussion of your own field/school program/desired career into an argumentative, five-paragraph essay. Choose one theme discussed in class (some will be listed below but you are not confined to using only themes from the list), and discuss how the chosen theme relates to your field of study, or how it can be used to complement your own expertise in your field.

Your term paper must include an Introduction with a concise two-part thesis statement (as in Essay 1), three body paragraphs including necessary material—2-3 supporting points, and a conclusion. As well, because you will be submitting this assignment in Word Document of PDF form, spelling and grammar will be taken into consideration for grading.

As part of your final Summative Assessment, you will be asked to share a brief presentation summarizing and explaining your essay to a group of your classmates (reading your introduction is acceptable!). As these presentations are aiming to approximate a 5 minute in-person presentation, aim to keep the text on your slides and the script you record between 300-500 words of text. The presentation slides will be shared in our final class of the semester. There will be a group sign-up sheet created to help you find a place and time in our final class that works for you.

Topic: Create a Brochure on Organizational Planning coursework assignment

benefits of our essay help

Description

Returning to the fictional committee you are a part of in the city government in which you live (or another city, if you wish), you have been asked to create a brochure to distribute to employees. The topic of this brochure is strategic planning. Specifically, the brochure will help city employees understand the steps and concepts related to a new strategic planning process initiated by the city manager. Since all of your fellow department heads trust you, and have applauded your efforts to educate them through your previous assignments, they are asking you to create a brochure to educate all employees about the concepts of strategic planning, including what level of input employees will have (you have been given the authority to decide this, by the city manager, and were instructed to include this in the brochure; so, you can decide on this matter). Importantly, because the plans are still being deliberated, and are not yet clear, you are unable to discuss specifics of the strategic planning initiative. Therefore, you will create a brochure that discusses strategic planning more generally.

Using at least three sources, create a brochure (in 11 or 12-point font) using the template that is included this week.
In the brochure, explain the process and reasons behind strategic planning.
Find photos online and add them to the brochure, where appropriate.
Your goal is to produce a brochure that your colleagues will happily share with their staff. Include sources, as well as photo credits and links to the photos, at the end of the brochure, in 9-point font.
