Drawing on the theories introduced in this course, analyse the global response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the particular foreign policy responses of any individual country. Which of the three main international relations theories (i.e. realism, liberalism and constructivism) best explains this country’s response, and the effect of the pandemic on international cooperation more generally? –
For the question, be sure to take a position on which theoretical explanation(s) work best and when. You may make your argument using one or a combination of theories from the course, but you must also consider and argue against at least one strong alternative argument to the one you are advancing.
The essay should use the Harvard Referencing style with Harvard in-text citations (author(s) date, page) (Smith 2019, p.13). There also needs to be 5 academic sources properly referenced.

Structure (10%): The essay has clear topic sentences, it is well structured, and paragraphs are clearly organised.
Editing (10%): The essay has clearly been proof-read and drafted and contains no/few grammatical errors.
