Everyone has been exposed to some sort of healthcare promotional efforts almost every day, including numerous opportunities for medical tourism. For this assignment, the students are required to do the following:
A. Identify the various types of medical tourism services offered in the country;
B. Provide a descriptive analysis utilizing the concepts of Marketing Mix (the 4 P’s) and SWOT analysis;
C. What are the visa and travel related issues that can impact (both positively and negatively) the medical tourism market in that country;
D. Cultural, behavioral, food, etc. aspects of that country which can help or deter medical tourism;
E. Devise a generic budget related to a specific medical tourism project (for example: how much will it cost for the procedure, airfare, hotel, pre- & post-care, meals, telecommunications, cost of accompanying person,
